Speaker:

Terrence Shay.  Here's a lil some some on our speaker:

 

The events of Terrence's short life resonates of God's goodness and providence.  After spending the first years of his life in Hong Kong and Taiwan, Terrence's family immigrated to the US where they were taken to church for the first time and the beauty of the gospel compelled each member to accept Jesus and be reconciled to God.  Eventually he found himself at Mandarin Baptist Church of Pasadena where he got grounded in God's Word, plugged into ministry, and met his future wife Regina.  After graduating from UCLA, Terrence was working as a youth counselor when God called him to pastoral ministry. Soon afterwards, he enrolled at Talbot School of Theology and has been working on his Master of Divinity since.  He recently completed his ministry at MBCP as the College Minister and is now enjoying a season of calmness while patiently waiting for where God is leading his family next.  Terrence is an avid LA sports fan (Lakers, Dodgers, and the UCLA Bruins!!) and his favorite pastimes are biking, fantasy sports, and hanging out with his 2 1/2 year old son Thomas.
